Released in 2005, and getting some decent exposure in Europe, Shana Vanguarde has released various remakes of ABBA classics. You have to give the girl credit, she's trying something that isn't easy to do, remake disco songs. She's got a rather cheesy overprocessed blond look but her song Gimme Gimme Gimme (A Man After Midnight) is something that has some substance. Its probably one of the best remakes of ABBA and for that matter of any disco song I have heard. Let me know what you think. It has a good upbeat modern sound.

Edit: Listening to the song, I knew Benny Benassi had an influence on this song..and in fact it is his song with Shana.

And what press agent let this photo get out? 1992 High School Class of LETS GET A NEW LOOK...much as you can't judge a book by its cover, don't do that to her either..her song is still hot (even if she's not).

Italian DJ, Favretto has recently released a new single featuring Jenny B. Now if you don't know who Favretto is (i didn't before doing some research on him) he's known for being the producer of "Put Them Up" by Edun. This new release has a good beat, and I happen to really like the voice of Jenny B. Check it out- you'll like it!

Lady Gaga, She's got the hottest beat I've heard in awhile

A newcomer to the music scene, Lady Gaga is described a wickedly sexy. She has an incredible vocal range and with a even more exuberant personality. Her first major single is titled Just Dance is sure to a huge hit. Her style is hard to describe but I'd say a modern funky disco with a hint of something..wild?

Get on this song...it is going to be hot!

I'm listing a bunch of songs that you might have, but you don't have the best remix. Hybrid is one of the best instrumental pieces I've heard in awhile and with a great beat thanks to Deadmau5.

This is probably my favorite remix to this Bellatrax song. Its unconventional, allowing the great vocals to rest in the song while not making it sound like every house song you might here.

Probably my favorite songs from the Hoxton Whores. Its been re-released, as it didn't receive the attention it deserved the first time. Its hot! and has amazing vocals as well.

Finally, I've added "Show Me Love"and yes, I know its everywhere..even the Ali Payami remix, BUT!!! this isn't the same one that is on all the other blogs. This comes off the compilation released by Hed Kandi (Live in San Francisco). I like this version 10 x better than the other ALi Payami remixes to this song.
